WOMEN'S HEALTH NURSE (RN) Looking for a nurse specialized in providing treatment for health problems that are often unique to females. The candidate will deal with diseases and disabilities such as osteoarthritis, migraines, depression, and much more. Nurses must be prepared to grasp and understand all needs of women, as well as strive to form long-lasting professional relationships with each patient. Qualified candidates will provide pre-conception care, prenatal care, postpartum care, family planning services, and many other forms of healthcare for women in any number of settings. Duties of a Women's Health Nurse include but are not limited to the following: Diagnosing, treating, and assisting female patients through illnesses Conducting physical examinations Documenting medical history Prescribing pharmacologic treatments Providing primary and specialty care for all women Performing minor surgeries Ensuring patients are educated and up-to-date on condition Educate patients on preventative measures to avoid illness
