What You ll Do:Evangelize Cisco s SW & Services vision to our channel teams and partner community.Be the primary area SME channel resource for the SW & Services portfolios.Be accountable for achieving Cisco Enterprise Agreement & Services indirect bookings targets for your respective area.Collaborate with Cisco Field and Partner sales leaders/teams to build an area channel plan to enable Cisco SW & Services revenue, drive business development activities (demand generation, account alignment, etc) and ensure proper engagement with targeted channel VARs.Create, drive and support enablement activities to promote further understanding of Cisco SW and Services both virtually and in-person to our internal channel teams and partner community.Educate the key, relevant decision makers/influencers at our strategic partners on the benefits and financial impact of building a robust Cisco lifecycle practice, inclusive of Lifecycle Advisor capabilities, with a strong focus on Adoption.Work with partners to develop their Cisco lifecycle practices by guiding them through the certification processes, maximize Cisco s partner profitability programs, enabling partner sales teams to hunt and identify opportunities and provide channel facing sales support.
Who You Are:Strong knowledge or ability to quickly build and articulate a background in Cisco s EA and Services portfolio is a must.5+ years of channel and/or sales experience in the IT industry, preferably with cross-portfolio high level knowledge of networking, collaboration, security & data center solutions.Possess software and customer lifecycle experience; industry knowledge & awareness is a plusExecutive presence and credibility, including having a strong partner financial acumen.Experience working in a fast-paced, start-up type sales organization; being a self-starter will be critical to success in this role.

Who You ll Work With:You will work on an immediate team of seven (7) Recurring Revenue Channel Specialists and one (1) SW Partner Business Development Specialist covering the West and Central area partner operations.Each RR Specialist has regional responsibility for driving indirect revenue for Cisco software & services in the channels organization and reports directly to the Recurring Revenue Manager, Partner Operations (MPO).You will have dotted line responsibility to the area s Manager, Partner Operations, whose team supports all partners in that area across the Cisco portfolio.APO, GPO, Area Channel Teams (inc. PAMs, CSEs and Architecture PBDS ), plus the area s field SW PSS for Commercial, GES and SLED.We seek someone who has a strong aptitude for teamwork, communication and can handle multiple initiatives across a single geography.
